Advantages Of Phenolic Air Duct Over Composite Lightweight Insulation Air Duct

In the late 20th century, the new composite lightweight thermal insulation air duct has been vigorously developed. In addition to phenolic composite air duct, polyurethane composite aluminum foil air duct and composite glass fiber board air duct are common. Compared with these composite lightweight thermal insulation air ducts, phenolic air ducts have the following advantages:

1. Environmental protection: phenolic foam adopts fluorine-free foaming, and a large amount of ODS will escape during the foaming process of polyurethane, causing great damage to the ozone layer. Although there is no ODS escape from glass fiber, it will cause great harm to the health of workers in the production process.

2. Health: cyanide gas is generated during the combustion of polyurethane, which is the manufacturer of thermal insulation phenolic air duct. 2-methacryloylanide is detected during the combustion of composite glass fiber board air duct, which is a harmful substance. Although the inner surface of the composite glass fiber board air duct is coated with polypropylene, the glass fiber will inevitably pollute the air duct in the processing project. If the scattered glass fiber falls indoors with the air supply, it will cause harm to human health.

3. Incombustible: phenolic air duct, phenolic is a material with good fire resistance among organic polymer materials, while some composite lightweight thermal insulation air ducts, such as polyurethane composite aluminum foil air duct, have flammable thermal insulation materials, and fire droplets will be generated during combustion.
