Phenolic Foam Insulation Panel:
Phenolic foam insulation material is a closed-cell rigid foam made of phenolic resin added with emulsifier, foaming agent, curing agent and other additives, which is a kind of material with high performance of heat insulation and fire retardant. It overcomes the shortcomings of common foam plastics such as flammability, smoke, and heat deformation, and is a thermosetting material. Phenolic foam has been greatly developed since the 1990s. It was firstly taken seriously by the military in the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries. It was used in aerospace, defense and military industries, and later used in civil aircraft, ships, stations, oil wells, and other places where fire resistance requirement is strict, and gradually pushed to public and civil buildings such as hospitals, sports facilities and residential buildings. Currently, the phenolic foam has been widely used in thermal insulation for building, HAVC, and pipes or equipment, etc.
