Production: made from phenolic resin, this powerfully activated charcoal is processed to create an extra fine, light powder with zero grittiness. It is steam activated using water vapour at high temperature (up to 900C), creating a powerfully adsorptive (adsorption - the ability to bind atoms/molecules to a surface) activated charcoal with a surface area of 250-1500 ㎡/gm.
Phenolic resin activated carbon offers several advantages:
